Czech Republic - Prague
I'm from Czech republic. Czech republic is small country. In this small country lives just 10 000 000 people but I have to say my country is very old ,historical and for sure so much beautiful. We have so many interesting historical towns, castles and chateaux.
I would like introduce those historical towns and sights.
Today something about PRAGUE.
PRAGUE is a magical city of bridges, cathedrals, gold-tipped towers and church spires, whose image has been mirrored in the surface of the Vltava River for more than a millennium.
Walking through the city, you will quickly discover that the entire history of European architecture has left splendid representatives of various periods and styles. There are Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Classicist buildings, as well as more modern styles, such as Art Nouveau and Cubist. A poet once characterized Prague as a symphony of stones.Fifteen bridges accent the panorama of Prague.The oldest, Charles Bridge, was built in 1357 and is named after its founder, the Emperor Charles IV.It's hard to miss it when strolling along the Royal Way, the famous coronation route of Czech kings that connects the Old Town with Prague Castle.One of the most breathtaking and photogenic views of the Castle opens up from the very head of Charles Bridge.
Today is Prague favorite city for many people from all the world.In Prague You can find something for everyone.Beautiful small shops,amall pubs with very good Czech Beers,theaters, museums, galleries and much more.
